SceneWise Rescue

A pocket playbook for emergency rescue technicians. The bridge between formal training and the actual incident, where you need to recall a specific step or load calculation under pressure.

What it is, and what it isn't.

SceneWise Rescue is a field-reference app for emergency rescue technicians, a pocket playbook for the kinds of high-stakes, technical jobs first responders run when a textbook isn't an option.

It's not training material. It's the thing you reach for after training, when you need to verify a load calculation, confirm a sequence, or document a specific vehicle quirk you encountered on a job last shift.

Built for the scene, not the classroom.

Every procedure is structured for fast recall under pressure: force diagrams, load-path engineering, equipment reference and a night mode for after dark.

RCR● Live

Road Crash Rescue

Stabilisation, glass, doors, dash entrapment, cribbing and vehicle relocation, fully built out.

VR○ Planned

Vertical Rescue

Rope systems, anchors, edge management and casualty packaging.

LSR○ Planned

Land Search & Rescue

Search planning, terrain analysis, tracking and lost-person behaviour.

USR○ Planned

Urban Search & Rescue

Structural collapse, void access, shoring and casualty extraction.

SWR○ Planned

Swift Water Rescue

Hydrology, throw bag, contact rescue and boat operations.

CSR○ Planned

Confined Space Rescue

Atmospheric monitoring, entry procedures and retrieval systems.

Ten topics. The real workflow at a crash scene.

Each topic has step-by-step procedures, force and load diagrams (SVG illustrations of cribbing geometry and ram placement), and safety-critical callouts.

01

Stabilisation

Vehicle on wheels, side, or roof: load paths and platform integrity before any cutting begins.

02

Glass management

Tempered, laminated, polycarbonate: when to break, when to cut, when to cover.

03

Doors

Opening, forcing, removing. Decision tree for hinge-side vs latch-side approach.

04

Side removal

B-pillar cuts, side rip, third-door techniques. Working space vs structural integrity.

05

Roof techniques

Full removal, flap forward, flap back. A-pillar, B-pillar and C-pillar considerations.

06

Seats

Adjust, force, remove. Manual vs powered seat decision points.

07

Dash entrapment

Dash lift, dash roll, foot well release, cross-ram positioning.

08

Cribbing & forces

Load paths, box cribs, the 3:1 height-to-base rule. Diagram-led.

09

Overturned vehicles

Inverted casualty removal. Roof-down stabilisation and access angles.

10

Vehicle relocation

Winching, sling placement, mechanical advantage. When and where to pull from.

More than a textbook.

These features are what make SceneWise usable mid-call, not just during refresh training.
